Fitness Tip: Waffle Wednesdays by Bree Schmidt

If I could eat waffles 6 times a day I would. Now, with these macros, I just might! If you have a waffle maker and 5 extra minutes in the morning you can whip these up and have yourself a real taste bud party!

What you need:

  • 1 scoop protein of your choice (my favorites for this recipe are PESCIENCE snickerdoodle and Optimum Nutrition Birthday Cake)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 whole egg
  • Mixing bowl
  • Waffle iron
  • Non-stick spray

First, you will add your scoop of protein to the mixing bowl. Slowly add drops of water while stirring to make the scoop of protein into a batter consistency. Add your baking powder and mix in the egg.

Spray your waffle iron with your non-stick spray and pour half of the batter onto hot iron.

Cook for about 45 – 60 seconds and remove.

Repeat until you have used all the batter.

Once you have all of your waffles cooked - add any toppings you want. I recommend peanut butter (duh), sprinkles, fresh fruit, or

And last but not least: FACE PLANT.
